King Bong is one of a kind. Since 2009, this trio of multi-instrumental musicians have been mixing sludge, doom, blues, funk, noise from their studio on the outskirts of the big city of Milan, have constantly released music and shared stages with the likes of Karma To Burn, Kadavar, Earthless and Fatso Jetson.
The band has now signed with Mandrone Records for the release of their next album and to celebrate this partnership, the label is re-releasing their album Sand ≈ Return, originally published in 2017 and now sold-out.
This album is for people who love music as a mean of travel to different places. The progressive and multi-layered tracks tell four stories that take place in four different deserts around the world. The music is accompanied by the evocative artwork of Solo Macello, which will help listeners to fully immerse themselves in this journey.
